Lessons may be scheduled any day of the week, with either Jordan or Julie. A typical beginner lesson requires an hour and a half time commitment with the actual riding lasting thirty minutes. Students are required to have their own ASTM/SEI approved helmets, correct riding pants and footwear. Julie will go over any questions you may have along with the Rules of the Barn when you come out for your initial visit. You will be required to sign a Release and Liability Waiver as well.
Lessons cost from $40 to $50 per lesson depending on length and type. All beginners start out on the lunge line and learn balance and how to post the trot without reins first.
If you request an assessment lesson *those who have ridden elsewhere previously* then the assessment lesson is $60.
Horseshowing requires a commitment to ride often and work hard. We show with our local circuits, the North Texas Hunter Jumper Club and the Dallas Hunter Jumper Scholarship Circuit. Horseshowing can be expensive, but extremely rewarding and fun!
