ABOUT US
Our goal is to turn your beginner rider into a successful and competent equestrian. We teach English riding, hunter jumper style. We offer camps and we attend local horse shows. Tony offers ground training for problem horses - he follows the Clinton Anderson method of horse training. Julie is a Level III certified American Riding Instructor's Association Hunt Seat Instructor with a background in Pony Club. Skylar's job is to fill the feed buckets, empty the water buckets, and to entertain clients and parents with her stories and toys.

OUR FACILITY
Located in Pilot Point, true Horse Country, you will enjoy the breathtaking views as you drive to Abingdon Park. A long drive way takes you around the arena to the 10 stall barn and arena entrance. The sand arena fully equipped with custom made jumps (by Tony!) is 120x200'. The large open barn has a lovely wash area and huge tack room. Lovely large paddocks, a pond and pecan and fruit trees make Abingdon Park an oasis of calm.
We initially chose Julie because I knew very little about riding and Julie was the only trainer that had actual credentials and certifications, which was very important to me. She welcomed us right in and made us feel like part of the family. I love that her barn is a small, family barn where each student gets tremendous individual attention. My daughter has been riding with Julie for 7 years now. She has not only learned all aspects of horsemanship (e.g., how to care for horses, general horse knowledge, and riding), she has also learned some valuable life lessons with the values promoted by Julie. She has learned courage, discipline, hard work, achievement, grace, confidence, perseverance, patience, and dedication. We couldn't ask for more.
